Gym hair look has always been an issue to those how to like to work-out daily. Sometimes having your hair done could prevent from exercise. If you have a meeting the next day you’ll probably hesitate about doing your work-out so that it won’t mess up your hair”. We’ve all been there.
So if you work-out daily but you only want to wash out your hair up to two or three times per week I found some amazing tips to help you enjoy both and have great-looking hair.
Before your work-out
1. Apply Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo will help to absorb all the moisture of your roots and prevent it from getting greasy or oily after your exercise.
Some people even recommend using Dry Shampoo right after you get your hair done, even if you have or not grease hair, it will help your hair look last longer and protect your hair from getting oily.
Note! Do not apply too much dry shampoo or you’ll end up with the exact opposite result you were looking for, greasy hair.
2. Put your hair up
Avoid having your hair down while your working-out routine otherwise your hair length will be in touch with your back or neck and it will get wet with your own sweat. Putting it up will prevent that any other hair, besides the roots gets sweaty and dirty.
Wearing your hair down will interfere with your movements while exercising and you’ll end up putting it up anyways.
Note! Avoid bobby pins, headbands, hats, or really tight rubber bands that can leave a kink on your hair.
3. Leave your hair up while showering
You’re not going to wash your hair or even getting it wet, so do your best to keep your hair up while showering or use a shower cap.
4. Blow-dry on a cool setting
You have to put the blow dryer on a cool setting and get sure you tackle the roots of your hair, your objective it’s to evaporate the sweat it’s on your roots. Why on a cool setting? Your body is hot from your previous work-out so using the blow dryer on a hot setting will only get you to sweat even more (try it and you’ll see).
Once you feel like your hair it’s completely dry move on to the next and final step.
5. Apply Dry Shampoo Again
Give your hair a few more touches of dry shampoo, your hair it’s dry put applying just a little more touches will prevent that any sweat encouragement throughout the day ruins your hair.
And that’s it! Hope you find it useful and enjoy your workouts while looking great hair.
